About us


Based in the Netherlands, Spain and the UK but working across Europe, we believe in co-creating innovation. Our mission is to support the scale up of innovation by building and aligning transformative collective actions at the community level to regional strategy. We measure impact and link it to new investment models, and we share and learn in collaboration with other regions to create further knowledge.

We have over 15 years of experience in policy advice and research, social innovation and regional strategy. 

Our public sector partners have included European regional governments, the World Health Organisation, Primary Care Trusts and community healthcare providers in the UK. We have also worked with private healthcare enterprises, private equity and third sector organisations.

Mariëlle Swinkels, is a strategic advisor and co-creator. She has been working for years with the concept of social innovation in regional and international programs such as the Smart Health programme of the Province of Noord-Brabant (Netherlands) and the Interreg Europe project ITHACA. She supports governments to stimulate and facilitate multi-stakeholder collaborations on regional-local, national an international level. As certified Warm Data Lab host she helps leaders, innovation teams and learning networks to create and demonstrate collective impact together around systemic societal challenges. She also supports grassroots movements by offering counseling to social enterprices and citizens' initiatives. 

 

Jon Dawson has a wide range of experience in policy, research and evaluation services to public, civil society and strategic partnership organisations at local, regional, national and international levels. This has included work for Primary Care Trusts, Health @ Work, Tobacco Free Futures, the World Health Organisation and the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.

 

Shabs Rajasekharan is an entrepreneur with experience in eHealth and independent living solutions. He was previously Director of e-Health at Vicomtech-IK4 (Spain) working on strategy and roadmapping for the health technology sector. He has several years experience as a management consultant in the UK for the NHS and private equity. This work included due diligence, health needs assessment and advise on strategic decisions for local healthcare service providers and payers. He began his career as a researcher in the UK and the Netherlands where his research work included medical imaging for cancer research, mobile robotics and control engineering.
